hey there, my name is Meytal.

If you're on a healing journey - or longing to move with a freedom you've lost - I feel you. In 2002, a car accident left me injured, frozen, and disconnected from what I loved most: dancing.


It was Feldenkrais that not only healed my body in ways nothing else could - but transformed my movement in groundbreaking ways: Improving my movement skills beyond what I imagined was possible for me, allowing me to meet my body with such kindness, playfulness, and child-like curiosity. 

This profound healing led me to become a certified Feldenkrais teacher. And after years of devotion and deep physical search, to create my own dance technique: Fathom High.

Since then, I’ve devoted my life to helping thousands of movement lovers reclaim their freedom through movement.

I believe it’s rare nowadays to find a space where you’re not subtly being asked to constantly try and become something you’re not. I’m not a dancer. Will this work for me?

Oftentimes we have that voice in our heads that says: “Me? Dance? I mean, I love moving, but I’m not a dancer...” But you don’t have to be a dancer to massively gain from this.

Because this isn’t about performance - it’s about returning to your body.
Dance isn’t reserved for professionals - it belongs to anyone with a curious body. And what waits for you inside is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

How often do I need to practice in order to see results?

Tribe members report seeing improvements already with as little as 1 class per week. We also have shorter classes in our library to make practicing easy and accesible!

Do I have to commit long-term?

Not at all. This isn’t about pressure or locking you into anything.

You can cancel any time, and it's super simple to do so.

What if I can’t show up live?

Everything is recorded and added to the library. You can arrive when you’re ready. Live classes are optional, not required.

The whole point of the library is that it's available for you any day, any time. As a result, practicing becomes so much easier, and we see people practicing more often - and getting better results.

How does it create such profound effects? What's the science behind it?

The classes make a difference where it counts the most - in our brains! Based on the science of neuroplasticity, the classes use proved strategies that re-wire our movement patterns, thus creating a change in our brain's neural pathways & changing our habits from the core. Although it sometimes feels like astonishing 'miracles', the science of it is actually pretty straight forward! 

Do I need any equipment or a big space to practice?

Nope. Just you. A little space to lie down. And a body willing to listen.

That’s the fun and beauty of it. All you need is enough space to lie down on the floor, close your eyes and dive into your body…!

What if it doesn’t work for me?

It’s really hard to trust our ability to change or to heal - especially if we’ve been living in a loop of tension or pain for a long time. It begins to feel like “this is just how things are.”

But what makes this different is that you begin to shift your movement patterns from the core. And when the root of something begins to change, everything around it does too.

How do I cancel my membership?

Could this method make my back worse?

This is such an understandable concern. When you’ve been living with back pain for a while, it can start to feel like everything can make it flare up. And when that’s been your experience, trying something new can feel scary, daunting, or simply unsafe.

The beautiful thing about this work is that it’s designed to meet exactly that place. The movements are very small, slow, and gentle. There’s no pushing, forcing, or stretching past limits. Instead of asking your body to override pain, this practice teaches your system how to feel safe again inside movement - which is often what’s been missing.

To support you even further, everyone inside the Tribe also has access to a Back Pain SOS Kit - a clear, practical guide for what to do (and what not to do) when flare-ups happen, how to know when it’s safe to move again, and a session for that tender moment.

It helps you respond in those moments without panic or guessing, so your body doesn’t feel like it has to protect itself even more. For many people, this changes their relationship with flare-ups entirely.

What if I need support or adjustments along the way?

Yes, absolutely - the Tribe is geared to support you deeply through this journey - you will not be doing this alone…! This isn’t one of those instances where you get thrown into a new practice you are unfamiliar with and left alone to figure it out. You’ll have access to a community with dedicated support space inside the Fathom High Tribe, where you can ask questions, share concerns, and get guidance whenever something feels unclear. 

Inside the community you’ll get your questions answered by me and my team of the Tribe mentors - who are all certified, experienced Feldenkrais teachers who know this work deeply. So if you’re unsure how to adapt a movement for your specific situation, or feel uncertain about anything - you can post there and receive the support you need.

I already go to physio / osteo / chiro. Is this compatible?

Yes - absolutely. This work is not here to replace anything that’s already helping you. It integrates very well with physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic care, massage, or medical support.

What this practice adds is something different: it addresses how you move, sense, and respond between sessions, so the benefits of other treatments can settle more deeply into your everyday life. Many people inside the journey combine this work with other forms of support and find that they complement each other beautifully.

I like to exercise / go to the gym. Will I have to stop?

No, you don’t need to give up anything you enjoy or that feels supportive to you. This work doesn’t compete with other forms of movement - it helps you become more attuned to your body so you know how to move, when to move, and when rest is actually the wiser choice. Many people notice that once they begin moving with more awareness and ease here, their other activities start to feel safer and more connected too.

I’ve tried so many things already… Why would this be different?

This is such a real question, and I feel you on that one (as I’ve been there too once). Many people arrive here after trying stretching, strengthening, physio, yoga, or other somatic approaches - and still feeling stuck. What’s different here is that we’re not trying to fix or override the body. We’re changing movement patterns at their root, through awareness, presence, and softness. 

How often would I need to practice to feel improvement in my back?

In terms of practice rhythm, many people begin to notice changes by doing 2-3 short sessions a week - feeling more ease in their movement and less reactivity in their back. Of course that practicing more often is welcomed too, if you feel the wish :-) If time is tighter, even two sessions a week can be effective - it may simply take a little longer for the shifts to settle. Ultimately, there’s no rigid pace here. The work meets you where you are and is designed to fit into your life, without overwhelming you.

I don’t have previous experience in movement. Will this even make sense for me?

You don’t need any background in movement. This isn’t about performance, it's about returning to your body. Everything inside the Tribe is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

I’m not always consistent. What if I don’t use it enough?
